Admissions and Tuition
Sonder Creek Academy is excited to connect with prospective students who are interested in joining us for the 2022/2023 school year! Our admissions process is all about 'fit'. Every school is different and we want you to learn as much about us as you can so that you can see if SCA is right for you.
Get To Know Us
Our recorded virtual info session is a great place to start. We also encourage interested families to schedule a tour. Our Head of School will show you our campus, tell you more about our program and of course answer any questions that you may have before applying.
When you are ready, please submit your completed application and the nonrefundable $100 application fee. The teacher recommendation is due within two weeks of your application submittal. Further instructions are available on the application. Please also note our mailing address as it is different than our physical address. Applications are considered on a rolling basis. We will let you know if there is a waitlist for the grade that you are applying for before depositing your application fee.
Interviews and Assessments
We want to get to know you too! After receiving your completed application we will reach out within 3-5 days to schedule the student assessment. If you have not yet had a campus tour then we will schedule the assessment and tour together.
Decisions and Next Steps
We will communicate decisions within two weeks of the student assessment and will walk you through next steps.
Our tuition includes all books, educational materials, subscriptions and devices. Tuition does not cover uniforms or individual school supplies, e.g., notebooks and pencils
We do not require (or expect, or ask for...) donations or volunteer hours. Many parents of course do volunteer for class parties and other school events but this is completely optional
